Optional food and wine experience:
In the evening, from 6:30 pm onwards, you can enjoy a food and wine tour in one of the oldest and most picturesque districts of the center. You will stop in the shops, taverns and wine bars where you will taste the specialties of Roman cuisine, local products and wines.
This morning, you will visit with a guide the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill and the symbolic monument of Rome: The Colosseum, the largest amphitheater in the world, famous for the bloody and spectacular gladiator fights. You will relive the glorious past of the empire and travel back in time visiting the Forum, admiring the Temple of Antoninus Pius, the Temple of Castor and Pollux, the Temple of Saturn, the Arch of Septimius Severus and much more.
In the afternoon, you will reach the Roma Termini station by taxi from where you will take the train to Naples. A private car with driver will pick you up to take you to beautiful Positano.
Positano is perhaps the most famous town on the coast, full of colorful vertical houses that reach the sea, narrow streets and steep staircases to walk along, losing yourself in the scent of flowers and lemons and colors. From the green of the Lattari Mountains that crown it to the white, pink and yellow of its Mediterranean houses, from the silver gray of its pebble beaches to the intense blue of its sea. It is a seductive place like the sirens who, according to the myth, lived on the rocks of Li Galli, the small islands that are located in front of Positano. Fun fact: in the historic center you will find many stores and small craft shops. Do you want a pair of custom-made sandals? They measure your foot, you choose the laces and after half an hour the personalized sandal is ready to be worn. In the afternoon, you will reach Amalfi, the heart of the Amalfi Coast, by sea. The most powerful of the ancient Maritime Republics, famous all over the world for the vestiges of an important past that you can breathe in every corner of the city, for the unique views, the crystal-clear sea and its culinary delicacies, it really has a lot to offer. Do not miss the visit to the Cathedral of Sant’Andrea, dedicated to the patron saint of Amalfi, built in the ninth century in Arab-Norman Romanesque style with the adjoining Cloister of Paradise and the steep and majestic 62-step staircase, symbol of the city in the world.
This morning, you will reach Sorrento by taxi or bus. Built on the cliff that separates it from its crowded marina, the town is famous for its wonderful view of the sea and the main square, spotted with cafes. The historic center is a maze of narrow streets where there are beautiful historic buildings, and the Villa Comunale is small and cozy, with a spectacular sea view and the possibility of reaching the marina thanks to a convenient lift. For lunch, we advise you to taste one of the famous local dishes, emblem of Mediterranean cuisine and only made in Italy: the gnocchi alla sorrentina, strictly handmade and seasoned with a simple fresh tomato sauce, combined with mozzarella and basil. In the afternoon, you will visit a historic citrus grove of the Sorrento Peninsula where you will learn the techniques of cultivation and

production of the most famous lemon in the world. Relax in the green oasis and treat yourself to a generous tasting of homemade lemon delights: jam, liqueur and lemonade produced with fresh lemons.
After breakfast, you will go to the port to get on the ferry that, in half an hour, will take you to the wonderful island of Capri, one of the most picturesque and visited places in the world. Its beauty and fame have been known since ancient times. Linked to the myths of Ulysses and the Sirens and a holiday resort of the Roman aristocracy, even today the island attracts many visitors who consider it a very popular destination for its splendid views. Upon your arrival, a boat tour awaits you with the amazement that arouses the view of Capri from the sea. You will discover the imposing Faraglioni that emerge from the sea and the numerous caves with their evocative play of color, most of all the famous Blue Grotto. At the end, you can take the chairlift to Monte Solaro, walk along a nature trail, visit Roman buildings and look out at the belvedere to enjoy a splendid view of the sea. In Capri, just wear a pair of comfortable shoes and walk: the Mediterranean scrub, the delightful streets lined with flowers and the terraces overlooking the sea will enchant you.
This morning, a driver will pick you up to take you to Pompeii. You will leave your luggage in the storage located inside the archaeological area and you will meet your guide who will lead you to visit the excavations of the ancient Roman city, buried by a blanket of ashes and lapilli during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The excavations were started at the behest of Charles III of Bourbon and are, to date, one of the best testimonies of Roman life of the time, thanks to the state of conservation of the site. The considerable amount of discoveries that have been found have made it possible to understand the uses, customs, eating habits and daily life of almost two millennia ago. With an extension of almost 440,000 m², the city has many buildings that have remained almost intact. In 1997, to preserve its integrity, the ruins, together with those of Herculaneum and Oplonti, became part of the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Your guide will give you the opportunity to fully learn about the history and the tragic end of this exciting city and to discover the secrets, making the visit a unique and unforgettable experience. At the end of the tour, which will last about two hours, you will go on the Circumvesuviana train to the Naples station from where you will reach Rome by train. At the station, you will take a taxi and arrive at your hotel. You will then enjoy a last evening in the Eternal City, walking among the illuminated monuments. Overnight in Rome
